There are a lot of different ways for you to get
involved with Young Jean Lee's Theater Company.
Most of the people I work with are people who
approached me because they liked my shows, and I am
always looking for performers, designers,
choreographers, co-producers, donors, board
members, administrators, researchers, stage
managers, assistant directors, and interns. Whoever
you are, we could probably use your help, and we
would love to hear from you.

KING LEAR:

    Looking for non-equity actors (male and
    female) of all ages who are available to
    rehearse 4-12 hours/week from March-October
    2009, and 20 hours/week from November-
    December 2009, with performances from
    December 2009-January 2010 at Soho Rep.
    Experience with experimental/non-traditional
    theater a must. THE CASTING PROCESS WILL
    BEGIN IN JANUARY 2009.

THE SHIPMENT:

    Looking for non-equity actors (male and
    female) of all ages who are available to
    rehearse 20 hours/week from September 26-
    October 24, 2008 and December 1, 2008-January
    7, 2009. This will be for a tour to the
    Wexner Center (Columbus, OH) from October 26-
    November 2, 2008 and a run at The Kitchen
    (New York, NY) from January 8-24, 2009.
    Experience with experimental/non-traditional
    theater a must.

SONGS OF THE DRAGONS FLYING TO HEAVEN:

    Asian actresses wanted. Must be able to
    speak an Asian language. I prefer someone
    with a real Asian accent but will cast an
    Asian-American if her Asian accent is REALLY
    GOOD. Need a good mover who can sing and
    dance and fight and do physical comedy and be
    funny. Age is flexible, but should be able to
    pass for someone in her twenties.
